The objective of CAxMan is to establish Cloud-based toolboxes, workflows, and a one-stop-shop for CAx-technologies supporting the design, simulation and process planning for additive manufacturing. Analysis-based process planning for Additive Manufacturing including thermal and stress aspects, and their interoperability with the design phase are key technology aspects within the project. Within the project, several European SMEs are involved with the objective of boosting their competitiveness by means of cloud-based solutions for additive manufacturing.
