The aim of CloudFlow was to enable engineers to access services in the Cloud, spanning domains such as CAD, CAM, CAE (CFD), Systems and PLM, and combining them to integrated workflows leveraging HPC resources. CloudFlow wants to contribute to a wider adaption of Cloud-based platforms, making them a practical option for manufacturing companies. Within the project, several European SMEs were involved with the objective of boosting their competitiveness by means of cloud-based solutions for the product development.
